Alberta Center for Outcome Research in Neurosurgery Kids (ACORN Kids)
Nathalie Hader is a summer Research Assistant. She started working with ACORN kidson 2016. She is working on two projects: (1) analyzing the patient-centered outcomes of ETV+CPC vs shunting for the treatment of hydrocephalus, and (2) comparing and determining the outcomes of the two monitoring epilepsy surgeries.
Nathalie is completing Bachelor of Health Scienceshonours degree at the University of Calgary. She is a two-time recipient of the O’Brien Centre Summer Studentship. Nathalie's epilepsy research project was selected for oral presentation at the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Pediatric Neurosurgery Meeting (2017) at Houston, TX. She presented her research with great success and the outcome of this study was very much appreciated by the neurosurgery community. Nathalie is also a regular presenter at the Bachelor of Health Sciences research symposium at the University of Calgary.
Outside of school time she volunteers with a group called between friends, and plays in the Calgary women’s soccer league.
